Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will take place at York and Leicester, and is being promoted by Immersive Hub Ltd. All visitors to the exhibition are subject to the following Terms and Conditions and by acquiring one or more tickets to this exhibition you confirm to the promoters that you accept these terms and conditions of use.

Tickets

One purchased ticket entitles one person to enter the exhibition on one single occasion. The ticket is valid for one admission and once scanned by an attendant it will become invalid for re-admission. Once a visitor has left the exhibition, he/she will need to buy an additional ticket to re-enter.

Tickets are valid only for the date and time stated. Please check your tickets upon receipt, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the visitors.

Immersive Hub reserves the right to amend or make alterations to the published details of the event as shall become necessary.

Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk.

Group tickets for parties of 10 or more may be available at discounted rates. Please visit the Groups page for further information.

Where ticket prices vary according to age, the following applies:

  • An adult is anyone 17 years or older
  • A person aged 3-12 is considered a ‘child’
  • Student rates apply to 13-16 year olds
  • Any child under the age of 3 can attend free of charge

The price of the tickets may vary upon occasion and the prices advertised are not guaranteed.

Once acquired, either by purchase or on a complimentary basis, tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and void if altered. If the ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter or one of its authorised agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue. Lost tickets will not be replaced.

Tickets will include entry to all areas of the exhibition., excluding the Virtual Reality section which requires a separate entry fee (paid on site only, no pre-bookings allowed for the Virtual Reality Experience).

From time to time tickets may be issued under special promotions either direct or via the promoter’s media and/or agency partners. These tickets will be subject to availability as well as to any terms and conditions which pertain to this relevant promotion.

Pre-Booked Tickets

Latecomers may not be admitted and may have to wait for a suitable timeslot to open up. If no suitable timeslot is available, latecomers may be refused entry.

Tickets purchased via the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience website will be offered a ‘print at home’ facility. Tickets can also be kept on mobile phones for scanning. It is recommended the visitor arrives at least 15 minutes before their purchased time-slot.

Tickets purchased via any one of the authorised selling agents will be subject to those agents’ own terms and conditions, including the delivery of the ticket.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is promoting a planet friendly, paperless approach. Therefore, we will not be printing tickets either for pre-sale or on site. All tickets and receipts will be delivered via e-mail for the customer to keep electronically.

Upon arrival at the exhibition, visitors will need to show their booking/barcode to the staff on the door to be scanned. If a visitor has lost this information, staff can search for their booking by name.

Pre-booked tickets may not be used in conjunction with any voucher, promotion or special offer.

Refunds

Tickets you purchase are for the visitor and the visitor party’s personal use only. You and your party must not resell or transfer (or seek to resell or transfer) a ticket. If you can no longer attend an event, please contact our customer service team at uk@exhibitionhub.com no later than 48 hours before the event and we will cancel Your ticket and refund the refundable amount subject to a cancellation fee of £5. Requests for refunds received less than 48 hours before an event will be at our sole discretion.

Health & Safety

The exhibition staff may need to draw visitors’ attention to certain health and safety procedures to which all visitors must adhere.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will endeavor to be open and operational during published hours, but reserves the right to close the exhibition on any given day, whether for security or any other reason, without notice. In the event of such closure, any tickets issued for use only on the day of closure will be exchanged or refunded by the promoter either directly to the visitor, or via the selling agent from whom the ticket was purchased. No further compensation will be paid.

Visitors’ Conduct

Within the exhibition, the following prohibitions apply:

  • No smoking
  • No pets or animals except for guide/hearing dogs
  • No consumption of food or drink
  • No offensive weapons
  • No access to any area of the exhibition other than those designated for access by visitors
  • No unnecessary noise or behavior likely to annoy or offend other visitors
  • No intimidating behaviour towards exhibition staff
  • No use of illegal drugs
  • No consumption of alcohol except in authorised places and in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003

The promoters reserve the right to refuse entry or to expel from the exhibition any visitor who fails to observe the prohibitions as above, or who they consider likely to affect the safety and/or enjoyment of any other visitor or member of staff.

Security

In the interests of safety, visitors may be asked to submit to a search of their person or belongings and anyone refusing to submit or to be found in possession of materials believed by the promoter or the venue to be dangerous or unsuitable will be denied entry or removed from the exhibition.

Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them at all times and the promoters accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings brought into the exhibition.

Photography

From time to time Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, the promoters (or other authorised third parties) may carry out photography or other recording at the exhibition, and any images or recordings may feature visitors. Visitors consent to the use of such images by the Promoter and/or the Venue in connection with advertising, promotions or monitoring and acknowledge that the copyright in such images rests with The Promoter and/or Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience and/or any authorised third party.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute.

These conditions of sale may be changed without notice.
